Gold Rates Pakistan ("the app") is published by the developer listed on its Google Play

store page. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.

Short version

The app collects nothing about you. There is no account, no sign-in, no advertising and

no analytics. Nothing you do in the app is sent anywhere that can identify you.

Information the app does not collect

The app does not collect, store or transmit:

• your name, email address, phone number or any other contact detail
• your location
• your contacts, photos, files or any other content on your device
• any device or advertising identifier
• any usage, behavioural or analytics data
• any financial or payment information

The app has no user accounts and no sign-in of any kind.

Information stored on your device

The app saves two things locally, using your device's own storage:

1. Your language preference — English or Urdu.

2. A cache of the most recently loaded rates, so prices appear immediately when you

reopen the app and remain readable without an internet connection.

Both stay on your device. Neither is transmitted to the developer or to anyone else, and

both are permanently erased when you uninstall the app or clear its storage from Android

Settings.

Network requests

To show current rates, the app requests price data from GoldAPI.io

(https://www.goldapi.io). These requests ask only for public market prices for gold

(XAU/PKR) and silver (XAG/PKR). No personal information about you is included.

As with any internet request, GoldAPI receives the technical information inherent to a

network connection, such as your IP address. That processing is governed by GoldAPI's own

privacy policy, available at https://www.goldapi.io. The developer of this app receives no

data from those requests.

The app contacts no other server.

Advertising and tracking

The app contains no advertising, no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs, no crash

reporting and no third-party trackers of any kind.

Children

The app is a financial information tool intended for a general adult audience. It does not

knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Accuracy of rates — important

Rates shown in the app are estimates, derived from international spot prices and

adjusted by a local premium and dealer spread to approximate a Pakistani Sarafa board.

They are not an official rate notification and they are not a quote. Actual prices vary by

city and by shop. The app is provided for information only and is not financial advice.

Confirm rates with your jeweller before buying or selling. The developer accepts no

liability for decisions made on the basis of the figures shown.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address and the date

at the top will be revised.
